Service schedule
Cutting, coring, demolition, and structural welding — scoped, scheduled, and executed by one sub.
Scope of work
Most scopes we price touch more than one trade. A wall opening needs sawing, a lintel, and embeds. A bollard needs a core, fabrication, and installation. Conrad carries all of it under one contract, so nothing falls in the gap between subs and nobody waits on a second mobilization.

C-01 · Cutting & sawing
Slab saws for trenches, panel removal, and road cuts. Track-mounted wall saws for door, window, and mechanical openings. Hand and chain saws where a rig won't fit or a corner has to stay square. Interior work is wet cut with slurry controlled at the blade, which is why we can cut in occupied buildings without shutting the floor down.

C-02 · Core drilling
Cored penetrations for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fire suppression, located to your drawing and drilled plumb. On waterproofed decks and finished surfaces where anchor bolts are off the table, we mount the rig on a vacuum pad instead. We've drilled cores to 18 in. diameter; anything bigger gets stitch cored. Slurry collection is standard on every hole, not an add.

C-03 · Selective demolition
Demolition that starts with a saw cut, so what comes out is exactly what the drawing says comes out. We separate the removal from the structure that stays, then take it down in controlled pieces. That covers road panel removal for civil scopes, like the sawn panels we pulled on a downtown Denver street for a sewer line replacement, and interior selective demo for tenant improvements.

C-04 · Steel & welding
Field welding and structural reinforcement, all positions, in occupied buildings and on open frames. Some assemblies are too big to ship: a storage rack, a run of custom joists. Those we fabricate and weld onsite. On fabricate-and-install scopes, one crew carries the work from shop drawing to final weld. No handoff, no second sub to chase.
Specifications
One table, every method. These are typical working ranges for the equipment we run, not guaranteed limits for every slab and every mix.
| Method | Typical range | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Slab / flat sawing | to ~12 in. typical | Trenches, panel removal, road cuts |
| Wall sawing | to ~24 in. with track saws | Doorways, windows, mechanical openings |
| Hand / chain sawing | to ~8 in. from one side, square corners | Tight access, no overcuts |
| Core drilling | 1/2 in. – 18 in.+ dia., larger by stitch coring | MEP and fire-line penetrations |
| Structural welding | field and shop, all positions | Reinforcement, embeds, fabrication |
Typical method capabilities, not hard limits. Send your spec and we'll confirm the approach.
Industries
Forty years of combined trade experience, most of it spent as somebody's sub. We know what a PM needs from us: show up when scheduled, cut to the drawing, keep the area workable for the next crew.
Openings, penetrations, and selective demo that sit on the critical path. We coordinate with your super, pre-task the work, and leave clean lines the framer and firestopper can build off without rework.
Cores and trenches sized and located to your drawing, not to the nearest convenient spot. Penetrations come out plumb and to diameter, so pipe and duct go in the first time.
Cored penetrations for standpipes, mains, and branch lines, drilled clean and true so your firestop system installs to its listing. Slurry contained, ceilings below protected.
Road panel removal and sewer and utility support. We sawed and removed street panels in downtown Denver for a sewer line replacement; the panels came out on schedule and the trench crew went straight to work.
One contract
Send drawings or a scope description and we'll quote it. If it's urgent, call. We answer.
